Foreign Exchange Broker
We are looking to recruit a FX Trading Specialist with at least 2 to 3 years experience in the banking or foreign exchange sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a broker willing to progress his/her career with a young, progressive and innovative company which a has successful track record of developing new online business. You will be joining our busy dealing desk, reporting directly to the Desk Manager, who will help you to further develop your skills and knowledge within the foreign exchange sector.
Responsibilities:
Ensure foreign exchange requests are handled promptly and efficiently by assigning rates to client trades and offsetting market prices
Develop and maintain professional working relationships with clients
Ensure client confidentiality is maintained and regulatory conditions and credit risk are observed at all times
Monitor FX market rates and keep informed of important events that could affect these rates
Requirements:
Essential
- Proven performance and track record of success from 2 to 3 years in FX dealing
- A good understanding of financial and currency markets trends/developments
- An evidenced ability to work under pressure in a lively selling environment
- A good understanding of money markets practices and legislation
- Comfortable with and experienced at both cold calling as well as building and maintaining client network
Preferable
- Persuasive with proven influencing and selling skill
- Passionate,versatile, proactive and hard-working
- A committed team player, co-operative, empathetic and able to handle conflict
- Self starter with a “can do” solution orientated approach
Starting salary will be commensurate with experience.

Working mainly by telephone your principal responsibility is to service customer enquiries, explain the options, and assist customers through their transactions.
You will have a successful track record with ideally some banking or foreign exchange experience and will be a self starter with excellent communication skills. Good organizational, IT, presentation and telephone skills are required.
